MEETING ONE.
Melissa put a price list together for equipment we would need to start up our business.
The price of this included Mac computers at £18,000.
However Without Mac computers - bringing our own mac computers this would reduce the cost to £6000.
Out of the office spaces I presented to the group, The favourite was Tower works, based within Granary wharf, within a community of 19 other creative businesses and close to the offices of graphic design companies such as Elmwood and Numeco. To further this I will contact tower works and try and find out prices for rental. We decided against the idea of buying as a start out company, as many of the outright buying places were in residential rather than commercial areas, and we felt this reduced the professionalism.
Danielle has been looking into how to make our business different to the others, by creating different days/events as special days or incentives for the company. For example, Krispy Kremes at monday meetings.
Ant has found our name which we are going to call Sublime, This idea was lent by our colour scheme which is lime and white (Combined with wood for interiors). We have decided collectively to go away and all come up with logo designs and come back to reconvene and decide.
